A place that is more accessible at this liminal time of year.    Often people fear the dark and this side of themselves but perhaps it is the lack of exploration and acceptance of our darker selves that creates that fear?    As pagans we aim to connect with the metaphor that is the wheel of the year to bring about wholeness through our spiritual path and this month we are embracing the impending change.

DESCRIPTION:This time of year is steeped in myth and lore regarding the "veil"\, the boundary between the realms of the living and the dead\, being at its most thin.     At Some Secret Place this month we're looking at communing with\, feeling\, and experiencing our ancestors\, and others who have "gone before" us\, as well as those who will come after us.    Be it family trees\, creative lines or spiritual and magical traditions\, we will all have people "come after" us. We are all part of lineages\, and we'll be focusing on our place within those paths.
