Some Secret Place is an experiential monthly ritual evening for solitary witches and solitary pagans looking to explore group ritual, based in London (UK).
It's about doing and feeling rather than just theorising; deepening relationship with the pagan gods. Evenings are made up of talk, small group discussion, ceremony, spirituality, and relationship with deity.
This is for people who have done some reading on witchcraft and/or paganism, and who are familiar with at least its general theological tenets.
Group size is small - maximum 20 people; we want this to be a focused and thoughtful experience. You can come once, come regularly, or come intermittently - whatever suits you best. We assume you are pagan or interested in pagan ritual but not necessarily experienced at group workings.

Dear members of Some Secret Place,
Following 5 years of monthly (or at times twice monthly) ritual evenings, Some Secret Place in London is coming to an end.
Hannah and I are moving to Somerset in April, to pursue our dreams of setting up an ethical, eco, pagan retreat (still a few years off) and giving our kids lots of green space to grow up in!
We won't be able to commit to anything as regular as SSP has been, but we do have plans and schemes to maintain bonds with all our friends and fellow pagans in the London community and will still facilitate an occasional event when we come back to visit London. One such event will be the Pagan Federation Samhain open ritual this year. (1st November)
We intend to ask some SSP veterans and participants from over the years to join this ritual team, so if you feel you would like to participate in being part of a team that hosts a big pagan community open ritual then do get in touch. Particularly if you have a passion/talent for performance art, writing chants/poetry/prose, making masks/costumes or just generally feel comfortable performing in front of 100+ people. If not, then of course it would be lovely to see you there all the same! So come along to catch up!
There will be SSP as usual 2nd Friday of February and March. However in April (Friday 13th) we're planning a big party for people from throughout our five years together to give SSP the send off it deserves. We have all done some very sacred and special work together in the group over the years, so whether you've come once or many times, you are welcome to join in and celebrate that. (The venue will be announced in due course, FB event invite to follow).
After we've settled in Somerset we'll be starting an SSP in Glastonbury, and of course you are all welcome to attend if you ever find yourself in that part of the world. The Facebook group and website will stay up to facilitate that group when it starts in its new location, as well as to coordinate events in London when they do happen.
It's been a wonderful five years, and from the bottom of our hearts we thank you all for being involved. I can honestly say the experience of running this group has changed my life, and in I hope in some way it has done the same for you.

We're gearing up for our last SSP ritual night in London. Well, we'll be back from time to time but this is the last regular one of the group as we know it.
Come along and join on in, we'll be having a big party in April, but if you want a ritual experience like we've been sharing for the past five years, this is it.
